WhatsApp has rolled out several new features for iOS and Android. Users can now share Live Photos on iOS and Motion Photos on Android with sound and short video. Meta AI lets users create custom chat themes and generate call backgrounds. Other updates include new sticker packs, document scanning on Android, and an easier way to search groups.
WhatsApp also introduced Meta AI tools. These let you design chat themes and video call backgrounds just by typing a prompt. You can even add AI backgrounds to photos and videos inside chats. But these AI features are only available in some countries and in certain languages like English, Arabic, Spanish, and more.
On top of that, WhatsApp added new sticker packs (like Fearless Bird, School Days, and Vacation) to make chatting more fun. It also made it easier to search for group chats, even if you forget the group’s name, you can just search for a friend in it, and WhatsApp will show you the groups you share.
