In order to improve education for the children of central employees and create jobs, the Cabinet approved 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas spread across 17 states.
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the opening of 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across 17 states and Union Territories.
The main goal of this decision is to provide quality education for the children of central government employees, especially in areas where new government offices or projects have been set up. As the number of such employees increases in different parts of the country, there’s a growing need for more Kendriya Vidyalayas to ensure their children have access to the same standard of schooling.
